Wow, this is a little depressing.... This is the 3rd time I've tried this... And this time I have real motivation... My husband is leaving for a deployment for 6 months.
Which means, I have six months to make a life change. Six whole months to figure out this healthy living and healthy weight thing.
And that was my spark. My lightbulb. My "ah-ha" moment.
I need to change.
This blog. This blog is hopefully gonna start the positive domino effect in my life. Here I am going to share everything I am trying. Hopefully 5 days a week. I want to share everything, and honestly this isn't really for you, the reader, but for me. I need to keep tabs on what's working... and what's not. I need to get my brain to stop dwelling on things that I think of but then never follow through with... I need an outlet.
Awww... yes. An outlet.
So, here's the goal, in bullet point, so we're all on the same page:
- To try all those DIY healthy miracles you read about on Pinterest, then reflect, find what works for me, and stick with it... and be honest when I don't
- I need to loose some weight. Not a crazy amount, just a "where the hell did these 15 pounds come from?! And in a single year?!"
- Recipes! Delicious food! One of my favorite things to do.
- Workout strategies (that work for me. I'm not a doctor... so take my words at what they are) I have quite a few options available to me, like Daily Burn, 21 Day Fix, Insanity, etc.
- Also, as a side, I want to practice my photography... I finally have a good camera and a tripod!
First stop, the doctor. I want to get checked out. Figure out what I need to focus on, what needs external/expert intervention. I need a baseline.
I'm excited!
